Thank you for purchasing your SkipBag. We stand behind the quality of every bag we make. When you join our community, we ensure that our warranty program will get you covered — because your satisfaction always comes first.

Your product is covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects in workmanship and/or material under the conditions described for the product's lifetime.

How to Make a Claim

To request a warranty claim, contact us at support@skipbag-travel.com with your order details, photos of the defect, and a description of the issue.

The warranty claim will be processed if you provide us with all exact information related to the product. If we do not have enough information, we may be unable to process your claim.

The warranty policy is only applicable with proof of purchase from our website and extends only to the original end user of the product.

What's Covered

Warranty Coverage

We provide a Lifetime no-hassle warranty for most items we sell. Our warranty ensures coverage for:

  • Broken zipper tape, zipper puller, or buckle
  • Double plastic slider or seam/stitching line defects
  • Carry handle or shoulder strap detached from seams
  • Wrong seam allowance or open seams
  • Velcro or webbing defects

What's Product Lifetime?

The term "lifetime" refers to the product's lifespan — not yours or ours, but rather the components, textiles, and materials.

The product's lifetime is determined by how much use it receives and how well it is preserved, not by its age.

Fabric: We may determine that the fabric has reached the end of its "product life" if it has become discolored, damaged, de-laminated, or deteriorated.

If major parts (handle, shoulder straps, buckle, or zipper) fail after years of use, we may consider the product to have completed its life cycle.

General Exclusions

Certain exclusions apply to all products. We do not cover products that have lost their functionality due to normal usage, especially wear and tear.

  • Normal wear and tear (e.g., fading, fabric breakdown, or discolouration)
  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or improper care
  • Damage caused during shipping, handling, or by third parties
  • Cosmetic damage such as scratches or scuff marks
  • Damage from extreme temperatures, UV rays, or water
  • Products that have been altered or modified
  • Products returned for personal reasons unrelated to quality
  • Incidental or consequential damages

Our team will evaluate your claim within 24 hours and contact you with next steps and shipping instructions.

Repair or Replace

Once approved, we'll repair or replace the defective parts. Replacements usually ship within 2–4 weeks.

Before You Claim

Things to Note

The warranty policy does not apply to gifts from giveaways. Only original, unaltered and unmodified items are covered under this warranty policy.

Each bag is eligible for a one-time replacement under warranty. Individual parts can be replaced repeatedly for life.

For items that are no longer in production, our team will contact you to discuss alternative options:

  • A replacement in the same product category
  • A gift card for the current value
  • A full refund

Before sending your product for inspection:

  • Please send us your proof of purchase
  • You are responsible for shipping costs to send the bag to us
  • Please keep your product clean before sending — we may not accept dirty items
  • Do not wash your product in the washing machine
